2018 @ the Brewery

With 2018 coming to a close, the team wanted to take a moment to look back over all the changes with the brewery!

Looking back over the past 12 months, the brewery was BEYOND busy! In addition to our core beers & regular seasonals, we launched several new brews & even revamped a few older favourites! Our new smash hits included our Mainline IPA, Southie Stout, Fruitbowl IPA, & Ballpark Lager! We also reimagined a few blasts from the past including Red Wheat N’ Blue Blueberry Wheat IPA & Trick or Treat, now our Wicked Good Ale! With our Wicked Good Ale, we even had an overwhelming amount of community support as we roasted hand picked pumpkins from a local farm within the M25! We had more demand from pubs old & new and had more privately hired kegs than any other year! Whether it was behind the pub’s bar or at a wedding in the middle of a field in Wales, our beer was pouring all over the UK!

Our Taproom was quite demanding of the brewery this year as well! With the quick growth in popularity, the Taproom had a stellar year! If you were a local in 2017, you know exactly what we are talking about. The Taproom saw so much change including new tables & lighting for our outdoor beer garden, tearing down walls to practically double our Taproom space downstairs, the addition of a new bathroom, a new snug area, a better selection of wine & pub snacks, as well as a complete overhaul of our design & style in the Taproom. The team is extremely proud of the hard work that has gone into all of the Taproom changes & we hope you are proud of your local Taproom as well! We continue to strive for a fun, quirky, inviting space that you & your friends can feel comfortable in while enjoying the brewery’s great craft beer!

Staff wise, we’ve also added a few new friends during the year! From a few extra hands in the brewery to full-time taproom staff, our core team has more than doubled this year! Over the first few months of 2019, we will be doing “Staff Spotlights” to highlight all of the amazing talent on the team! With faces you’ll recognize & a few behind-the-scenes crew that will be new to you, follow our blog & on social media to have catch it all!

As we look ahead to 2019, we have some BIG things planned! A few new brews as well as some Taproom surprises, we promise you won’t want to miss out! Follow our blog & on social media to stay in the know!

We are so thankful to all of our locals who help keep our Taproom bustling & to all of our pub friends who keep us pouring through their taps! We hope everyone has a wonderful New Year’s Eve & we look forward to brewing & pouring for you in 2019!
